Don't Drink and Favorite
So I was going through my favorites today and I noticed a few things that I don’t really remember favoriting but apparently I did. Or some things that I do remember favoriting but they really aren’t favorite-worthy in any sane life and I wonder to myself why I favorited such a thing.
It always feels good to get rid of certain favorites. It’s like cleaning your cyber-room.
But...
Popularity>Fixing the Economy
HGHUIRHSGR;UISHBVFUOYSGUFH;VFJC
IM SICK OF HEARING ABOUT OBAMA’S FUCKING DOG CHOICES AND ABOUT HIS GIRLS STARTING A NEW SCHOOL. HES ON THE NEWS TALKING ABOUT HOW HIS DAUGHTERS HAD A SNOW DAY. AND OH MY GOD WHITE SOX MERCHANDISE HAS GONE UP EVER SINCE PEOPLE SAW HIM RUNNING ON THE BEACH WEARING A WHITE SOX HAT.
I. DONT. CARE.
WHY ISNT HE TALKING ABOUT THE ECONOMY DAMNIT.
Maybe its just...
This will never ever get old.
The Daily Dose of Medicinal Knowledge
Lately I’ve been thinking about my chosen profession and how much I will really have to know. I realize that in the few years that I will be studying that I won’t have the proper brain capacity to suddenly absorb everything there is to know about the human body and everything that can go wrong within it.
Being the paranoid problem-solver that I am, I have found a way to at least get...
Steven Adler →
Last night before going to bed I watched an episode of VH1’s “Sober House” and wow. I knew heroin was a powerful drug, but wow. Steven Adler was just a mess. He is such a sweet guy and he’s so funny and likable. If you don’t know, Steven Adler is the ex-drummer from Guns N Roses, which is one of the best bands ever to exist. He’s really a cool guy but whenever...
Brutes in Suits
I just think that is such a clever book name. I’m putting it on my “To read or not to read” list.
So it is now exactly 7:58 AM and I am pretty much kicking myself in the face. Well not really because I’m not sure my aim is good. Why you ask? I was up till 4am reading and taking notes on my Islam chapter for IDS, reading about the definition of matter for intro. to chem,...
Awards Season Brings a Dismal Fact to my Attention
A few weeks ago I watched the Golden Globe Awards and was very pleased to see my favorite actress, Kate Winslet, multiple times along with others like Hugh Laurie and such. Watching the SAG Awards tonight I realized something very disappointing. As I watched E! interviewing famous actors and actresses I noticed that they were interviewing and focusing on the same EXACT people as they did during...
Bangin out Blogs
Sorry. I know that two blogs in one day is not conforming to the status quo but I have a lot of thoughts today I guess.
So I was working on my american history notes and the book was talking about a foreshadowing in the late 19th century of organized women’s groups. And it led me to think: why is it that we had no problem getting over the change in gender roles but it took us a hundred...
King Henry Didn't Believe Dogs Could Meow
I think I can remember that. I’m just trying to repeat it and write it everywhere so as not to forget the order.
Ok the real issue I wanted to point out on this post pertains to the matter of shaking. I’ve learned something about myself today. On the first days of school from 6th grade to 10th grade I would shake uncontrollably in my chair in all of my classes and then the second day...
Back to Basics
I DONT KNOW WHY but I can never get this one part of math/science down. I just dont get it. And when I do understand this certain subject, I then proceed to forget what I understood and I then have to start all over again.
Ok kiddies. Conversions. Example: How many millimeters are in one centimeter? How many centimeters are in one meter? How many kilometers are in one meter? Or is that how many...
Paleolithic Thought
As I was sitting on the toilet, I suddenly remembered something from my 10th grade Spanish III class. One day somebody raised their hand and asked the native mexican teacher what language that he thought in. At first the rest of the class looked at the student dubiously because of course the question sounds mental. But the teacher apparently understood the question and answered...
It's a hard life, man.
Well. What a day I have had. So eh this was my shorter day. My last class ended at 10:50 and then I had to peer tutor from 11-1. I then went to the bus stop where I learned that it was POURING rain. I had nay umbrella and nay jacket so that was fun. Actually it really was fun at first. I was soaking wet and my hair was completely drenched-I looked like I had just had a fight with a sprinkler or...
ihops. come hungry; leave happy.
Jillian’s house. Come happy; leave bored.
this little gem came to me as i watched an ihops commercial.
Mom Pet Peeve
You know what really bugs me? When I’m listening to a great and catchy pussycat doll song and my mom comes in and is like, “Hi.” And then just stares at me.
She does this all the time. She comes in while I’m reading or watching some Gilmore Girls and just says “Hi.” and leans against my doorway staring at me. Why does she do it? I think she’s bored....
Otherwise known as "candy water"
I’m giving it up. That is my new year’s resolution.Besides the swimming and the sleep,of course. I have nay forgotten about those. But yeah, I am giving up soda for a year. Maybe longer, we’ll see. But for now, I’m cutting it out of my life cold turkey. Starting tomorrow I will not drink soda. Yep. No soda. None. No soda for Jillian. Yep. It’s the truth.
I CANT GIVE...
The fat cow parents and their bratty twin boys...
About a year ago this idiotic family forced the city to put signs in front of their house that say “SLOW CHILDREN PLAYING” or whatever and I thought that was a big enough joke, but no. They’ve proven their high ignoramus level to be even higher.
These kids always play right in front of my house and they are the loudest fucking bags of idiots that I’ve ever seen in...
My hypothalamus is set to wake me up at exactly...
At least I know that I do have some form of an inner alarm system, even if it is off by a good 5 hours.
