That Was NOT a Stupid Question D:

So something is bothering me. I asked this question in my pre-calculus today and I got snickers. Normally I would be fine with this because I’m used to being the person who asks a lot of questions and occasionally they are stupid.

BUT THIS ONE WAS NOT STUPID. I JUST DIDN’T CONNECT THE DOTS, OK?

Ok so we were doing something with inequalities and she said that if you wanted to find the inequality or domain or something for 2x + 3 under a radical you would re-write it as 2x + 3 > 0 and solve. Well that’s easy enough, except I didn’t understand why she automatically put “>” and I asked why and got chuckles D: IT WAS NOT CHUCKLE WORTHY. It’s bugging me now.

Oh and it’s because you can’t have negative numbers under a radical so it has to be greater than zero. SORRY IF I FORGOT ABOUT THAT DETAIL. GOD.

Hmph.
