I would have to say that my favorite Renaissance painter is Andrea Mantegna. He is just. SO AMAZING. His paintings hold such high intense emotion and it evokes emotion from whoever is viewing it. This painting here is called “Dead Christ” and that is Jesus there. Isn’t he depicted so…interestingly?! He’s so human looking. I’m just like in total awe of this painter. I had to let these thoughts out. This IDS class is seriously developing my sense of art/music culture; I’m sorry that I ever hated IDS because while it is time-consuming, it really is a great class :/  I can’t wait until we go to that museum next week.
-eats frosting out of a tub- I wonder what women indulged in after a heartbreak before there was frosting and such. Or maybe they did have frosting in the Renaissance but perhaps not in high quantity so it can’t just be consumed all the time.
